At Breakthrough Education Support, we offer both comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, and targeted assessments. Comprehensive assessments include evaluation of cognitive, behavioral, social/emotional and learning profiles to answer specific questions and address concerns. Sometimes, families are seeking answers to a specific question and a more targeted assessment is appropriate. To find out which is right for you and/or your child please set up a free 20 minute consultation.

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) are assessments that are conducted after your child’s school has already conducted their own evaluation if there is a disagreement. If you are not satisfied with the results of your child’s school evaluation you may formally request an IEE from the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team. The cost of the evaluation is paid for by the school district, and is considered by the IEP team upon completion.
