Educational and Mental Health Support in Davis

Psychoeducational Evaluations

Understand how your child thinks, and engages with their world through a thorough assessment of their skills and abilities. Rowan has extensive experience with:

ADHD Evaluations
Learning Disability Evaluations

Every evaluation includes a written report, a parent feedback session, and the option for a child feedback session.

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)

If you disagree with an assessment recently conducted by your child’s school district, you may be eligible for an IEE. An IEE can provide an unbiased second opinion of your child’s current strengths, skills, and needs.

Evaluations for Accommodations

Targeted psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for accommodations in college courses, as well as testing accommodations for high stakes tests (GRE, SAT, ACT, LSAT, etc). These evaluations are the documentation you may need to obtain important accommodations.

Individual Counseling

Rowan (LEP #4295) offers individual counseling to support children that may be struggling with anxiety, executive skill difficulties, low self-esteem, social conflicts, and school related challenges. She welcomes clients as young as 4, and is AutPlay certified. Her approach for all ages is child-centered, and focuses on building lasting growth.

Academic Tutoring Support

Tutoring services are provided by Sarah Foley, a credentialed teacher, and trained reading specialist. Sarah has worked for decades to support students through specialized intervention in reading, and math. She utilizes evidence-based instructional practices in order to help students build and reinforce strong foundations.
