Why choose Sarah?

We have the expertise to meet the needs of students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and other learning differences. Sarah believes that although these students may need more practice or a different instructional approach, they are capable of becoming proficient readers and writers.

We know that kids learn best when they are both challenged and supported. Therefore, we focus on building a strong relationship with each client using a strength based approach that fosters a fun, and supporting environment where children feel successful.

Sarah has years of specialized experience working with struggling readers in grades 4-8. Students who need foundational literacy skills into their tween and teen years do best with teachers that understand and honor the emotional toll around their years of struggle, recognize the knowledge and skills they have developed, and use materials that are appropriate for their age level. We can meet the needs of older students, and students that are feeling frustrated about reading.
