We offer both comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, and targeted assessments for concerns like dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, or autism. Comprehensive assessments include evaluation of cognitive, behavioral, social/emotional and learning profiles to answer specific questions and address concerns. Sometimes, families are seeking answers to a specific question and a more targeted assessment is appropriate.

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) are assessments that are conducted after your child’s school has already conducted their own evaluation. The purpose of an IEE is to provide additional information, or an alternative perspective for the IEP meeting if there has been a disagreement. If you are not satisfied with the results of your child’s school evaluation you may formally request an IEE from the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team. The cost of the evaluation is paid for by the school district, and is considered by the IEP team upon completion. We offer tutoring services for all school aged children with a focus on literacy development, and math skills. We offer personalized baseline assessments and individualized tutoring programs to develop and strengthen academic skills and accelerate progress to full proficiency. Sarah is a trained reading specialist, and has worked for decades to support students through specialized intervention in reading, and math. She utilizes evidence-based instructional practices to help students build and reinforce strong foundations.
